Science – On the Move

This term the Prep students have been learning about Movement and Change. We need to understand these concepts in order to make sense of the world around us.

The students began this theme by learning how animals move. The preps performed a song at assembly called ‘From Head to Toe’. The students may refer to it as “I can do it”.

The students made an animal in Art that could move a body part. I hope you enjoy the students’ wonderful creations as much as I did.

In Science the students made a cube about the movements of: push, pull, bounce, slide, roll and spin. This was followed by a partner game of charades (act out the action/doing words). We all had a lot of fun with this game.
